DISCUSSIONS:

Emergency preparedness - A new attendee, Dinie asked about emergency preparedness and inquired about why we (Highland Park) didn't have a plan for this area. Perhaps someone who feels passionate about it and would be willing to take some of this burden from Betsy would be willing to facilitate this for us? It's a big concern for everyone and having a plan for your family is important and a plan for the neighborhood would be helpful in a crisis situation.

A street clean up for the upcoming months?

Printing new signs to be placed in the neighborhood announcing the meetings was also brought up. It was decided this was a good idea to revisit as it was dropped when the group was determining where to meet. Now that we have a firm meeting place, we can follow through with it.

Next meeting falls on Labor Day. Should we meet the week before, Monday the 19th? A meeting reminder will be sent out.

Ken writes: "On a personal note, I would like to thank everyone who reads and responds. It's nice to know the information is getting out to people."

"By they way, if you know someone who's thinking about Real Estate and could use my services, please give me a call with their name and number. I'll be happy to follow up with them."
