![]() BUSINESS SPOTLIGHT: ZIPPY'S BURGERS The proprietors of popular Highland Park restaurant Zippy's Giant Burgers, Blaine and Rahel (left), announced their upcoming move to nearby White Center, 14th and Roxbury. They offered two raffle prizes: a meal coupon for two and a sweatshirt. They answered questions about menu items and changes at the new location. The best burgers at the best prices (including veggie burgers) will continue, with a new item homemade french fries planned. The old location will operate until April 14th the new place will open April 25th. The corner property of today's Zippys is in the hands of "Uni- Bank," the future of the site uncertain. | |

COUNCIL CALL
FOR A HIGHLAND PARK REP At the recent DDC annual planning retreat, volunteer
representatives from HP Improvement Club (Rhonda Smith) and HPAC (Mike
Shilley) sat on their "Neighborhood Outreach Committee." HPIC
& HPAC are planning their own outreach, with special emphasis on
immigrant neighbors. We would like to hear from neighbors who already
have their block organized, whether for social or safety reasons, to
avail them of our program tools. Please contact the secretary, Mike

NAME CHANGE PROPOSAL A general discussion followed. In the end, a majority agreed with these points:
